  • Residential treatment services: SUD treatment for people who live at a treatment facility. Includes a treatment plan and individual and group sessions.
  • Hospital-based inpatient treatment: SUD treatment in a hospital setting
  • Comprehensive assessment: An assessment completed by a qualified assessor used to find out what level of care a person needs
  • Treatment coordination: A licensed alcohol and drug counselor (LADC) or other qualified professional helps plan and coordinate medical and mental health care and offers help with family concerns, employment, housing, and finances
  • Peer recovery support: Education, mentorship, advocacy, and support. Services are provided by a peer who is in recovery.
  • Help with quitting tobacco: Resources to help stop tobacco use
  • Residential withdrawal management: Short-term medical services used to stabilize intoxicated patients, manage withdrawal symptoms, and help people access SUD treatment
  • Substance Use Disorder Treatment with Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (SUD-MOUD)/Opioid Treatment Programs (OTP): Medication used to help manage cravings and withdrawal, including opioid treatment programs

You must have a comprehensive assessment to determine what level of care is recommended. This assessment looks at the effects of substance use on your life during the past 12 months. You may choose the level of care recommended by the assessment or any lower level of care. The assessment usually takes 1 to 2 hours. It may take longer based on your needs. Call PrimeWest Health Member Services at the number below if you have question or need help getting an assessment.
