Behavioral Health

Behavioral health includes the emotions and behaviors that affect your overall well-being. Mental health and substance use are 2 parts of behavioral health. Just like with physical health, there may be times you need extra support with your behavioral health to make sure you feel your best. Whether you need help with mental health or substance use, there are a range of qualified providers who can help you. PrimeWest Health wants to help you get the support you need to live a healthy life. Visit our Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder pages for information on services that may be available to you.

Behavioral health care coordination

PrimeWest Health offers a service called behavioral health care coordination. It is available at no cost to members. The goal of the program is to help you manage your care and connect you to services and resources. It focuses on prevention and empowering you to become an active and informed partner in your care.

As part of the program, you will work one-one-one with a behavioral health care coordinator. This person will connect you to the help you need. They will also help you coordinate and communicate with all the members of your care team. This includes providers, specialists, and pharmacists. Your behavioral health care coordinator can contact you once a week, every other week, or once a month to provide help and support.
