24-Hour Nurse Line: Nurse24SM

If you have questions about your health, it’s always best to talk to your primary care provider. However, if you can’t, PrimeWest Health provides access to a 24-hour nurse line called Nurse24. When you call, you can talk to a registered nurse to get help deciding what to do about an illness or injury. It is secure, completely anonymous, and provided at no cost to you.

You can call Nurse24 at 1-866-201-4601 (toll free; TTY 711). This phone number is also listed on the back of your membership card.

When to call Nurse24

You can call the nurse line 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, every day of the year. These services can help you decide on the right kind of care for symptoms and conditions such as:

  • Fever
  • Coughs
  • Sore throat
  • Vomiting and diarrhea
  • Minor injuries

Nurse24 can also help you decide where to get care. Is it something you can take care of at home? Do you need to make an appointment with your health care provider? Or should you go to an emergency room? In an emergency that needs treatment right away, either call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

When not to call Nurse24

If you need help finding a provider, want to know if a procedure is covered, or have eligibility questions, please DO NOT call the nurse line. Nurse24 offers general health information and does not have information specific to PrimeWest Health members. You can call PrimeWest Health Member Services at 1-866-431-0801 (toll free) to get answers to these kinds of questions. TTY users call 1-800-627-3529 or 711 (toll free).
