Mobile Dental Outreach Clinics
Apple Tree Dental and Children’s Dental Services hold dental outreach clinics in and around the PrimeWest Health service area. Preventive and some diagnostic services are provided during these clinics. Restorative services are either provided on site or referred to a local provider for completion in an office setting.
We encourage you to share information about mobile dental outreach clinics with members.
Apple Tree Dental
General: Members must call Apple Tree Dental to schedule an appointment. Walk-in appointments are not available. Apple Tree Dental provides dental services to youth ages 1 – 18 who a part of the school district where the clinic is being held. Parents/guardians will be notified if a dental outreach clinic will be held at their child’s school or Head Start location.
Locations: Apple Tree Dental mainly holds dental outreach clinics in schools and at Head Start locations in the following communities: Breckenridge (Wilkin County), Detroit Lakes (Becker County), Elbow Lake (Grant County), and New York Mills (Otter Tail County).

Children’s Dental Services
General: Members must call Children’s Dental Services to make an appointment. Walk-in appointments are not available. Depending on the location, Children’s Dental Services provides dental services to people of all ages.
Locations: Children’s Dental Services holds dental outreach clinics in schools and Head Start locations in the following communities in Southern Minnesota: Jackson (Jackson County), Marshall (Lyon County), and Tracy (Lyon County). Youth ages 1 – 18 who are part of the local school district can be seen at these outreach clinics. Parents/guardians will be notified if a dental outreach clinic will be held at their child’s school or Head Start location.
Children’s Dental Services also holds dental outreach clinics at Public Health and Human Services offices in the following locations: Ortonville (Big Stone County), Starbuck (Pope County), Glencoe (McLeod County), Luverne (Nobles County), Worthington (Nobles County), Windom (Cottonwood County), Jackson (Jackson County), and Wheaton (Traverse County). This is not a complete list of locations; members should call Children’s Dental Services for other locations and dates.
