About Values Health
Welcome to Values Health! Values Health is a community-based health coverage program offered to small businesses in rural Minnesota. The program has been designed to extend affordable, local health coverage to individuals who are employed at businesses that don't offer health coverage.
Values Health is a "multi-share" model. This means that shares of the health coverage premium are collected from each of the following:
- The employee
- The employer
- The local community
- The State Health Access Program
Values Health is not insurance. It is a health coverage program administered by PrimeWest Health. Values Health operates under Minnesota legislation enacted to help working Minnesotans gain access to affordable health coverage.
