Medical Supply (T2029): In the DHS bulletin regarding the new code for medical supplies it states that a diagnosis is required when billing for this. This is incorrect. This code T2029 does not require a diagnosis code.
HCPC CODE - T2029: When submitting claims for this code (medical supply) you will be required to include a descpription of the medical suppy you are billing for. Because this is a generic code and can be used for many different types of supplies, beginning 5/1/06 we will require claims submitted with this code to have a description include on the claim form.
