Disability access information for primary care clinics

PrimeWest Health gathers disability access information about our contracted primary care clinics through a mailed survey. Each clinic was asked questions about specific types of disability access. This information was current as of August 27, 2008. Click on a question (or group of questions) below to see results for each clinic. What hours is your facility open?

Can you make accommodations for people who need to be physically transferred to exam tables or X-ray equipment?

Do you have scales designed to weigh patients with physical disabilities? Do you have a scale that weighs patients over 350 pounds?

Do you have a scale that will accommodate a wheelchair? Does your facility have wheelchair access?

Will taxis drop patients off at the door of your clinic? Where does the bus pick up patients? Where does Rainbow Rider or other form of public transportation drop off patients?

Is your facility handicapped-accessible from your parking lot? How many handicapped-accessible parking spots do you have? How far is your facility from the most distant parking spot in your parking lot?

How does your clinic make accommodations for patients who need private waiting areas?
